Non-Surgical Treatments That Stimulate The Body To Repair Painful Areas.

Pain Relief for:

  • Chronic Arthritis
  • Back Stiffness
  • Disc Disease
  • Stifle/Cruciate Disease
  • Hip Dysplasia

Prolotherapy relieves musculoskeletal pain around joints by strengthening the ligaments and tendons that support them.

“Prolo” is short for proliferative. A prolotherapy treatment causes the proliferation of new connective tissue in areas where it has become weak.

Prolotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure that involves the injection of a solution (usually a sugar solution) at joints or at the ligament where they connect to bone. The injection stimulates fibroblastic proliferation at the junction of bones, ligaments, and tendons. This initiates the growth of new fibers, which strengthens weak ligaments and tendons to the point that they can again support the joint properly. When joints are properly supported, nerves and blood vessels are less encroached upon and the pain lessens.

Prolotherapy is an alternative approach that has been proven over many decades in animals, and over 80 years in humans.

Mesotherapy for Pain Management

Mesotherapy can be used to effectively treat muscle soreness and inflammation due to injury or chronic arthritic disease. Overuse or pain due to injury can cause inflammation to the muscles, which can be extremely painful and delay healing.

Mesotherapy involves the delivery of small amounts of medications via local injections instead of ingesting or injecting intramuscularly or intravenously much larger dosages of medications, which are filtered in the liver and kidney and travel throughout one’s body.

As most chronic conditions have multiple causes, several different treatment modalities must be utilized to optimize the successful outcome of treatment. Prolotherapy and mesotherapy can be used with essentially all traditional and natural medicine treatments. They complements the other treatments, aiding in the healing of the patient.
